* Kit-2 PXA255 based: Linux 2.6.17
* Kit-3 PXA270 based: Linux 2.6.17 or Windows CE 5.0 or CE 6.0

RedBoot
Modules are always supplied with pre-installed Redboot firmware. Redboot supports several low-level-debugging options and file download via serial XModem or FTP via ethernet. These files can additionally be stored into the permanent flash-memory to be started by command or power-on.
